Photoshop Express
Monday, April 28th, 2008
I know there are many Adobe Photoshop users out there who range from the amateur to the professional. Adobe has just recently released their online version of Photoshop called Adobe Photoshop Express. I did not spend any significant time on the website to give a proper review, but what I saw was very promising. It is just another perfect example of how software is shifting to the internet. You can now edit your photos right from your browser. It is largely understood that the software is nowhere in comparison to the full version of Photoshop CS3, but it offers enough tools and filters that would satisfy a casual Photoshop amateur user. Adobe offers 2GB of space to store and edit your photos. Go ahead and give it a try.
Canon 40D
Thursday, September 20th, 2007
After a few years without a decent camera I have acquired the newly-released Canon 40D. Supposedly it is a significant improvement since the 30D (which wasn’t much different from the 20D). A few years back I had photography as a hobby. Since then everything has moved digital and I was left with my film camera. Well now it is time to experiment and be creative. Stay tuned for possible new photo galleries and discoveries.
Cycling Milestone 2007
Thursday, August 30th, 2007
Since August 2006 I’ve been trying to cycle on a regular basis. It is not always easy to find the time in a busy schedule and with a family that involves two kids. This month I’ve reached my small milestone. Yesterday I planned my route so that I would come home with an odometer reading of no less than 1000. It just so happened that I rolled into my garage with exactly 1000.0 miles. It is significant to me, but is probably nothing compared to those that seriously cycle.
I’ve gotten my wife interested in the sport as well. The children also come along for the ride in their trailer. Talk about a nice exercise when you have to drag an additional 50 pounds. All in all I wish that more friends would consider this sport. If you are interested then let me know. I would be glad to share my experiences with you.

I have yet to fully trim this little helicopter. It does take some effort to keep it in one spot. Altitude changes quickly and often without any input, but I guess that is due to ground effect. Stay tuned for more possible posts about my new BladeCP.
Molodezh.com – “A Light in the Darkness”
Saturday, April 8th, 2006

Internet is a wonderful thing when it is directed in the right direction. Molodezh.com has now existed for almost 5 years in various forms. I’m glad that I could be a part of this growing website.
Molodezh.com is dedicated to Russian Christian youth of United States. At the moment, it is run by the youth from the First Russian Baptist Church of Harrisonburg, Virginia (actual location is Mt. Crawford, Virginia). We invite you to visit this website and find out something about us and our work. The ultimate goal of this website is to promote the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. We believe that only through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of sins can anyone receive salvation. Our desire is that everyone would consider their purpose in life and turn to God, because without Him life has no meaning.
